We offer a variety of classes through the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). Starting from the beginner to the Medical Professional, from an individual to groups of 20 people or more. We offer a straight forward, exciting, fun atmosphere for a better learning experience. 

Classes are as follows:

AHA Heartsaver CPR- American Heart Association's Family and Friends CPR course is a modular course for everyone from schoolchildren to older family members, caregivers, and other adults who care for people at risk of sudden cardiac death.  It also focuses on CPR and response to choking, gives information on American Heart Association's adult and pediatric chain of survival, and helps participants: recognize signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, and choking in adults recognize signs of choking in infants and children reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and prevent the most common fatal injuries to infants and children.

AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid- This is a credentialed course specially designed to train those responsible for children's health in meeting state-specific requirements.

This course is backed by comprehensive state-by-state research, and is formatted to allow instructors to customize it to include all topics required. Course modules cover first-aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, and optional topics.

This is the course to choose for efficient, effective training of:

• education and child-care professionals
• recreation and other community program staff
• new parents, guardians, and other caretakers

This course is $80.00 per person.  This course is a MANDATORY 8 hour course, per state of California for Daycare Providers.

AHA Healthcare Provider CPR/AED-This course content is for credentialed healthcare providers, covering core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.

This course is $70.00 per person.  This is a 4 hour course.

AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-Designed for personnel who staff emergency departments, intensive care units, or critical care departments, as well as physicians, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency, the ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest.

This course is $200.00 for first time certification + $65.00 for books.  This is a 10-14 hour course based on enrollment, usually split into two days. For re-certification the cost is $150.00 + $65.00 for books.

AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)-Designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children, the PALS course teaches participants:

• to recognize infants and children at risk of cardiopulmonary arrest
• strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children
• skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest.

This course is $200.00 for first time certification + cost for books.  The cost for re-certifications is $150.00 + cost of books.

ASHI First Responder-The First Responder class teaches basic first aid, such as bandaging, splinting, rescue breathing (CPR), basic trauma assessment, use of the automated external defibrillator (AED) and administration of oxygen. Upon successful completion of this class, participants will receive a First Responder license.
This course has a minimum attendance requirement of 10 people per class.  This course is $400.00 per person.

AHA Airway Management: This course goes over BVM ventilation, OPA placement, LMA placement, ET tube placement and Threshold Device use.  For additional information we also go over nasal intubation, use of the bougie, intubation of a seated patient, needle cricothyrotomy, airtraq optical laryngoscope use and upon request we can also go over surgical cricothyrotomy. 

This course is $125.00 and includes book.  It is a 4 hour course.
